Janis Lindsey

 

Born October 15, 1966 to Marvin & Maxine Scott. The youngest of 4 children. Born in Purcell, Oklahoma, raised 13 miles East of Lexington, Oklahoma in a little community call Corbett.  Raised on a farm, riding horses. Learned to play drums at age 13 for the family band.  They play at the local events & rodeos.  She married Ronnie Lindsey in October of 1987. Between them they had 3 children, Suzanne, Kassandra, & Ryan.  A graduate from Lexington High School in 1984. The City College as an accountant in 1995.  Music has always been a big part of her life.  Started playing the upright bass in 2004. When she hooked up with the “From The Heartland Bluegrass”, and the best is still to come.
