Been in the Valley almost 3 weeks, with 4 more to go. For those that have not heard on our 1sr show Sam stepped off stag and fell broke his right arm. We have been getting reports on Tom and he is doing well and plans to join us around the 18th of February, We have been doing fine and having lots of fun. I hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving. we all enjoyed it with our family's. Well Christmas is fast upon us. We will enjoy the holiday with our family and then be ready for our South Texas Tour. I sorry to inform you that we have lost Wayne. He has decide to go back to his Celtic music. We will miss him. But like always we will continue on. Hope to see everyone at OBC Dec 3 for the Christmas show.

Happy Halloween! Momma said there'd be days like this. lol I am working on rebuilding our web site. I can't keep up this is web builder only works with the old stuff and I am working with the new stuff. I hate it when we have to upgrade our computers. yuck. Oh well I will get it done soon I hope. Once again I am behind. FYI we will be playing Thursday and Friday at the Duncan Festival. I would love to see everyone. Please plan getting out there. We will have a lot of fun. The Chickasha Festival had a great turn out thank you to everyone that came and supported us. Sorry I am staying behind. I don't get to blog very often. I hope everyone is staying cool and not burning up. I do have soon schedule updates and will post them. The radio show went over very well. Busy Busy Busy, We had a great time in Portales and will be planning on going back next year. Well I have been busy. Sorry I am not keeping up with my blog again. We just got in last night for Sioux City Iowa, played a wedding for some folks. Really nice folks the wedding was beautiful as well as the country that we travel through and back. We will be working to get ready for the radio show on July 9th in Guthrie and also our festival coming up in Chickasha Sept 9, & 10. We will be traveling to Portales New Mexico for the Heritage Day festival June 18 & 19th. I hope everyone is staying cool.

Hope everyone is doing well. Wayne and I (Janis) are helping the students at OBU shawnee put on a play Smoke On The Mountain opens tonight (Thursday) and closes Sunday. Next week will be light week hope to make it to Duncan to see some friends. The 27th we will Cowboy Church in Norman On Lindsay St., and Thursday the 28th will be on the Lawn Stage 7:30-9:00 for the Oklahoma City Arts Festival.

We played out 1st show this season at the Lazy Palms Edinburg, had a wonderful time. The weather here is wonderful in the 80's. I hear it is cold at home and expecting snow, yuck. We play tonight at Canyon Lake RV in Mission. We are making plans for a coming home party March 19th at the R & R Restaurant in Guthrie, OK 6:00 pm. $14.00 buffet and show.

Merry Christmas to everyone. I am working hard to get Christmas in order. My baby boy comes home for Christmas Saturday the 11th from Japan. He will be home for almost 30 days before he leaves for North Carolina. Anyone know any good bluegrass festivals in North Carolina. That way I can pay for fuel to go see him the next to years. The other kids are come home on Christmas Eve and Ronnie and I get to Play Santa for Kiera. I hope everyone a has a great Christmas. We will leave for our Valley tour around the 4th of January. I wish Wayne was going with us. Wed need to figure out a web cam so he can be with us long distance lol. Going to have a busy schedule this year. Time to blog again. Had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Looking forward to Christmas. Ryan is flying home on the 11th for 30 days I can't wait to see him. He will then be stationed in North Carolina. This year has just passed so fast. We are looking forward on out South Texas Tour. We are going to miss not getting to take Wayne and Tom with us. I have been busy moving and have not had the internet to put my blogs on. So what's up everyone. We are going to the Andrews Texas festival also this year, That festival falls on Labor Day week so come spend a long weekend with us. We have been spending some time with friends Roy and Tommie (Pecos Valley) from New Mexico was up a couple of weeks ago and Thank you Sam and Sammie for stopping on the way back from Turkey Track. And did ya'll here about all that water. Yuck! Well I am off to work. I will have my Real Estate Lic soon, Hopefully next week. Everyone please pray my brain works and I can pass. Sorry I have not been blogging lately. Been busy and have not felt like it. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and remembered Jesus has risen. We have not been doing a lot except practice since we got back home. Going to Peacock Texas around the 28th to do some visiting and jamming. Going to make Thursday of the Duncan Festival. Everyone please support bluegrass as much as possible. It is sad that so many festivals and having to stop. We are going to help Doris for Chickasha put on a one day festival hopefully in June maybe July. I will let everyone know the date very soon. Plan on joining us May 13,14, &15 Flomot Texas Festival Our kick off festival for 2010, gonna be a blast. We are working on new music come here it. God Bless everyone.

We arrived home yesterday. Thank you John and Barbra for traveling with us. Everyone please keep Kenny in your prayers. His Mother passed away March 2 in the morning time. We were headed home and made it to Fort Worth when he got the phone call. We all loved her and will miss her. The Funeral is Thursday a 2:00 pm at the Dale Cemetery. More will be posted soon on our 2010 schedule. Update on short notice March 11 we will have Pecos Valley with us and be playing at Washington, Ok Senior Center 7:00 pm, March 12 will pot luck and a Jam with them at our bus barn in Moore, and March 13 we will have them at Chickasha with us. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I am behind on blogging. I am trying to get ready for the Holidays and plan a wedding. My son made it home from Japan for Christmas and to get married., January 1, 2010. We have set our leave date for the South Texas tour for January 4, 2010. I will be busy the next 2 weeks. November 17, 2009 It is the week before Thanksgiving. We have been busy, played OBC on the 7th, Chickasha on the 14th and Union Hill Baptist Church. We are busy working in the studio. Have set a goal for ourselves to have the new album release the 1st of Dec in time for Christmas. We will going Labor Day weekend to play the Andrews Texas Festival. Planning to have a show at Moore 740 NE 27th. at the bus barn on August 28, 2009 4th Friday night. Plan on a show from us and some jamming. We will try for a show the 4th Friday in September and October. We don't know about Nov and Dec because of the holiday's.

Well they say no news is good news. For those that are keeping up with us. We no longer have Lloyd with us. We are sorry to see him go, but for personal reasons he can not play with us. We will miss him. We are not really looking for a replacement. We played Friday night at Lilliam Texas without a guitar and no one missed it. So away we go. We hope to include Roy and Tommie for the Pecos Valley group with us when we go to the Valley in Jan and Feb. It will be loads of fun. Everyone should plan on joining us. We have had a wonderful time in the Grand Rio Valley. Will be coming back next year for our second tour of the area. We met lots of new friends and met up with some old friends. For those that think they can only come out and see our free show enjoy because I am not sure how much longer we will be able to put them on ether. Everyone have a safe and happy Labor Day. I am actually working today. Dates for everyone to remember Oct 1, 2, 3, & 4th, 2008 From The Heartland 1st Annual Fall Festival. Please come help us make it a big hit. We are trying to keep Bluegrass alive in Oklahoma with so many of them giving up because of the high cost of living. Wednesday night is free we are having a potluck and Gospel Jam 6:00 pm. The Festival starts Thursday night at 5:30 pm with a all Gospel Night. Friday night 5:30 and Saturday 11 am all nights should go to about 9:00 -9:30 pm. This is all at the Multi Purpose center at Purcell 1400 Chandler Road. 73080. The construction on the Interstate is almost complete. Playing Guitar and singing Lloyd Williams. Kenny's Daughter is getting married the weekend and Carl is visiting family with his wife Fran in Texas. It is almost back to school time. Janis's son that is in the Marines will be 19 Aug 5, he will be coming home in about 3 weeks for a few days. Ronnie and Janis's oldest Daughter Suzanne in due to have a baby the 1st of September. So home life is keeping us busy right now.

My son is a United States Marine. I have had a busy weekend just getting him graduated and off. The rest are doing well. John goes back to the doc Thursday for another test. We are taking it easy this weekend and hopefully moving into the studio. Next weekend we will be at Washington, Ok for a fund raiser. Everyone come join us.

We have been on the road again. Just got back from Branson, MO. You will have to ask the Guy's about the car washes in Branson, the tale is very funny, but more so when they tell it. I just got told last week that my son Ryan has to leave early for the Marines they have decided to ship him out on the 26th. Mom is not ready yet. We are going to be home the the Memorial week and then we will be off the Portales, NM. Oh by the way congratulations to Triple L Band, they won 2nd place in the single Mic contest at Silver Dallor City.

We have news to share with everyone. Kenny and Mary Ann are the proud grandparents of a bouncing baby girl, 9lb 6oz. They are in North Dakota this week. Will be back just in time to leave for Branson. We will spend a few days at Silver Dollar City. We are going to be entering the single mic contest, so wish us luck. I am getting ready for graduation my Son Ryan will Graduate on the 23rd of May and then Joins the Marines on June 23rd. I am enjoying the weather and working on our festival coming up in August. We made it back from Perrin, Texas. The festival was great. Got a invite back we really like it at Mitchell Park so everyone plan on joining us next year in March or even go down a check out there other 2 festivals in June and October. We had a little mishap. Sorry to disappoint everyone about not being at OBC club show. Carl's, wife's uncle passed away, and John had some test done and doc said not to do anything until Monday. We staying of out of the cold. Everyone has had a touch of something from colds to the flu. John is recovering very well. He is taking his medicine and walking every day, we are proud of him. The group played at Chickasha Sat 9th. and introduced Jake the Plumber to the crowd. Ronnie came with us and played his harps. We got him to sing his 1st solo. We have made it back home. We had lots of fun, except for John getting sick and spending time in the hospital in McAllen, TX. Just a little Heart trouble. All is well now. Hope everyone is doing fine. We have booked in shows in the Valley for 2009.

We pulled into Victoria, Texas about 8:00 last night (Thursday). We were welcomed with open arms. This is a really wonderful park and the people here are great. This is probably one of our most favorite places. We are having a blast. We play a show here Saturday night and will be moving on to Mission on Monday. Oh' the weather is sunny and 70.

We are currently working on building our studio. The outside walls are almost complete. We hope to have it up and running in the next 2 months. We have lots of new music that we have been writing and are just about ready to record. We are at home until January. Spending time with the family.
